I am at home in Austria, Wiener Neustadt. Here we have a breeder who breeds Sandos Leisha wolfdogs. I had always grown up with dogs since the age of 6. When my last Rottweiler bitch crossed the rainbow bridge, I was 60. Then I thought, one more dog is possible before I myself stand at the edge of the abyss. I noticed an ad in a daily newspaper. So I was curious what Sandos Leisha looked like. My wife and I fell in love with the same dog. He was highly intelligent. For leash training, I only needed 7 hours with consistency. Then the little 8-week-old puppy signaled when he needed to go outside. I can only say, of all my many dogs, he, "Basti," was my best dog. The Leishas have a European gray wolf as a great-grandfather. He was very big, weighed 65 kg of muscle mass. When he sat at a normal dining table, he could lay his head flat on the table. Unfortunately, he died this summer. He held on as long as possible until my wife came home from the hospital. That night, he passed away. An American who was on vacation with us said that in America, he could easily pass as a "Dire Wolf." How proud I was of my wolf. Today I am 71, and that was my last dog. I am sure we will see each other over there again when I must cross over. All the best, Norbert.

Some years back, I adopted a Husky/Chow mix and later a Samoyed. They were both a bit smaller than wild wolves, but absolutely beautiful like wolves in shape, facial features & coat-type. Just looking at them & petting their thick double-coats, you could definitely see how domestic dogs evolved from wolves.

One of my favorite things about wolves is how they develop family interactions in their packs. I'm glad that wolves are getting treated with more respect and care at national parks & in sanctuaries. They are splendid animals who deserve our protection.

So I’m still a bit confused. Is any type of cell service required to have access to Starlink internet, cell and text once a person had downloaded the app on their smartphone?

I appreciated your article and the video. I am pondering buying a 28DBS. I plan to live in the 28DBS full time.
In your video you mentioned the cabinets getting stained by water. Is there something that could be applied to the cabinets to protect them water damage?
I want to remove the bunks and use that space for an exercise area. A bench and calibrated tubing. I will also use this area for extra water.
I have yet to find a place for my large desktop computer. I don't want to bolt the monitor stand to the table. Do you have any ideas on how to secure the stand to the table without drilling holes?

Hi Nicoll,

I'm based in South Africa. We recently purchased a so called wolf dog. To me it seemed to look exactly like a wolf, so we decided to get it tested. Turns out that we were sold a pure timber wolf!
We can't bare to give him up as he is still a pup and we paid a small fortune for him. I was wondering if your guidance and techniques could be used to train him like you train your wolf dogs? We are a little stuck with how we should proceed. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
