Nope, cell service is not required to use Starlink internet or the Starlink app.

So I’m still a bit confused. Is any type of cell service required to have access to Starlink internet, cell and text once a person had downloaded the app on their smartphone?

You leave out the most important piece of information…
That without a smartphone or a smart device to download the app, this system is useless.
And if you live rural with shitty cell service like I do, your just SOL!
Please update your information to be accurate.
Otherwise, your just another site with half assed information.
