In 2019, our insatiable wanderlust led us to hit the road full-time! Our love for discovering new places and living a simple, adventurous life is what ignited the creation of this blog, and for five incredible years, we traveled all over the country!
Since those traveling days, our lives have changed. We are no longer on the road full-time. We have since settled down and welcomed a beautiful daughter into our family! Sadly, we also had to say goodbye to both Cruze and Bella, who have since passed away. While we miss them terribly, we are SO grateful for the adventures we shared with them.
Even though our daily adventures look a little different now, we are keeping this site up as a permanent resource for you! All of our travel guides, hiking itineraries, and RV tips from our 2019–2024 journeys are here, and I will update them periodically.
Cruze, our mid-content wolf dog, completely changed our lives. He taught us so much about trust, companionship, and a level of unconditional love we didn’t even know was possible.
If you’ve followed our journey, you know that Cruze was a massive part of our family. Sadly, Cruze has since passed away, and while our hearts are shattered and we miss him every single day, we aren’t ready to take this site down just yet. We want to keep this space alive to honor him and continue helping others.
Because if there is one thing we learned during our years with him, it’s that owning a wolf dog is not easy. It takes an incredible amount of dedication, knowledge, and a whole lot of patience.
We’re keeping all of our firsthand experiences, tips, and the lessons we learned with Cruze on the blog. Our goal has always been to share the raw reality of what it’s like to live with a wolf dog, and we hope these resources help you give these amazing animals the best and most fulfilling lives possible.
Let’s go back to 2017, when my husband (who has always been the sensible one) bought an empty cargo trailer, threw a mattress on the floor and called it home.
Hit the road with our guides that cover everything from the hidden costs of RV living to the pros and cons of full-time travel.
