This iconic destination offers 25 therapeutic soaking pools filled with mineral-rich geothermal water, sourced from the world’s deepest geothermal hot spring!
The hot springs pools are open to hotel guests 24 hours a day, allowing you to experience the therapeutic benefits of the mineral-rich waters even at night!
But even if you are not a hotel guest, the hot springs are open until 10 PM for a late-night relaxation session.

Located within The Nightingale Hotel, the Neon Mallard Bar Cocktail Lounge holds a rich history in Pagosa Springs dating back to 1898.

Chimney Rock National Monument, located just outside of Pagosa Springs, is an archaeological site that offers a fascinating glimpse into the lives of the ancient Puebloan people.
This remarkable site covers seven square miles and preserves 200 ancient homes and ceremonial buildings built over 1000 years ago, including a Great Kiva, several Pit Houses, a Multi-Family Dwelling, and a Chacoan-style Great House Pueblo.
But I bet you didn’t know Chimney Rock also offers special night programs and events!
One of the night programs you can experience at Chimney Rock National Monument is the “Full Moon Program.” This program takes place against the backdrop of the Great House Pueblo, where you can witness the moonrise!
The “Stars & Galaxies” program is specifically designed to be scheduled when the moon is not visible in the early night sky. Visitors can enjoy the darkest sky and see numerous stars, including those from the Milky Way Galaxy. The program also offers telescope observation of deep-sky objects beyond our galaxy. So cool!

Red Ryder Roundup Thursday Night Rodeo
The Pagosa Night Rodeo at the Western Heritage Event Center Rodeo Grounds offers an exciting and action-packed night every Thursday in June and July.
Since 1949, this iconic rodeo (voted the biggest and the best in the Southwest) has been featuring various events such as Open & Jr. Barrels, Mutton Busting, Team Roping, Jr/Novice Bull Riding, Open Bull Riding, Breakaway Roping, Bronc Riding, and Kids’ Calf Scramble.
The evening kicks off with a BBQ at 6 PM, followed by a pre-show at 6:30 PM, and the rodeo performance starts at 7 PM.
Additionally, after each rodeo, there is a Rodeo Dance with Tim Sullivan from 9 PM to 11 PM at the CSU Extension Building.
